Second SFAB will provide advisers that will partner with foreign security partners across the African continent to increase theater security cooperation efforts within the region.

The Department of Defense recently realigned 2nd SFAB to the AFRICOM area of responsibility. These realignments are an effort promote enduring regional stability and enable its partners throughout the African continent to lead in their response to threats and build toward establishing and maintaining long-term foundational security.
