Command Sgt. Maj. Charles W. Gregory Jr. serves as the command sergeant major of U.S. Army Africa in Vicenza, Italy.
Gregory entered the Tennessee Army National Guard on Nov. 9, 1990, and attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, as a 19K armor crewman. In February 1994, he transferred from the National Guard to active-duty service.
