Brig. Gen. Eugene (Gene) J. LeBoeuf serves as the Acting Commanding General for U.S. Army Africa and as Director of its Army Reserve Engagement Cell.  He was commissioned as an engineer officer in the regular Army in 1985.

Brig. Gen. William J. Prendergast IV
Brig. Gen. William J. Prendergast IV is the U.S. Army Africa deputy commanding general and Army Reserve component integration advisor. He also serves as the Oregon Joint Force Headquarters assistant adjutant general.
COL Kirk was commissioned from the United States Military Academy in 1992 as a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry.  His assignments include platoon leader and company executive officer in Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry, and Battalion S1 for the 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry, Ft. Carson CO; 1st Brigade A/S3 Plans officer and Commander Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry, Ft. Drum, NY; and Commander Bravo Company, 6th Ranger Training Battalion, Eglin Air Force Base, FL.
